Summary

Agentic AI Engineer

Introduction:

An Agentic AI Engineer is responsible for building and supporting production-grade Agentic AI solutions using cloud-native AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, or Google Cloud Platform Vertex AI. They design intelligent agents capable of tool use, workflow orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, reasoning, task automation, memory management, and multi-agent collaboration. The role involves applying backend development or data engineering experience to create scalable APIs, data pipelines, integrations, agent tools, and AI-enabled applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and support production-grade Agentic AI solutions using cloud-native AI platforms
  • Design intelligent agents with various capabilities
  • Create scalable APIs, data pipelines, integrations, agent tools, and AI-enabled applications
  • Enable secure and interoperable agent ecosystems using standards and protocols
  • Develop and maintain Agentic AI applications
  • Implement integrations and support agent ecosystems
  • Develop backend services, APIs, connectors, and integrations
  • Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions
  • Work with LLM frameworks and orchestration tools
  • Evaluate, test, and improve agent performance
  • Debug and resolve issues related to agent behavior
  • Collaborate with various teams

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • Experience in Artificial Intelligence
  • Strong backend development or data engineering experience
  • Knowledge of cloud-native AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, or Google Cloud Platform Vertex AI
  • Experience in building AI agents with various capabilities
  • Ability to create scalable APIs, data pipelines, integrations, agent tools, and AI-enabled applications

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent2Agent (A2A) patterns
  • Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions and LLM frameworks and orchestration tools
  • Experience in evaluating and improving agent performance
  • Experience in debugging and resolving issues related to agent behavior
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams
