3 Must-Have Skills
1. Oracle Cloud Revenue Management (RMCS) - hands-on experience with Revenue Contracts, Performance Obligations, SSP calculations, and Revenue Recognition processing
2. SQL proficiency and technical troubleshooting - ability to write and debug SQL queries for revenue contracts, AR transactions, intercompany transactions, and payment applications
3. ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles - strong understanding of multi-element arrangements, deferred revenue, and unbilled revenue accruals
4. Ability to translate business/accounting requirements into technical solutions and communicate back to Finance stakeholders in business terms - acts as a functional-technical bridge.
3 Nice-to-Have Skills
1. FBDI/ADFdi experience for bulk data imports and updates in Oracle Cloud
2. Oracle Cloud Intercompany module - netting, transfer pricing rules, and intercompany eliminations
3. REST/SOAP API integration experience for importing revenue contracts, invoices, and payments
Degrees/Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Oracle Cloud Financials certification preferred. CPA or MBA is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Provide production support for Oracle Cloud Revenue Management, Receivables, and Intercompany modules
Troubleshoot and resolve revenue recognition issues (Revenue Contracts, SSP, deferrals, allocations)
Support monthly/quarterly period-end close processes for revenue and receivables
Resolve AutoInvoice errors, payment application issues, and accounting discrepancies
Maintain intercompany invoicing, netting, and elimination processes
Reconcile AR Subledger with General Ledger
Write and optimize SQL queries for troubleshooting and reporting
Manage and resolve support tickets in a timely manner
Coordinate Oracle Cloud quarterly update testing and validation
Purpose/Size of this team & where does this position fit within the team?
The Application Management team within Enterprise Technology supports client's financial accounting infrastructure.
The Revenue side of the team (~5-7 members) is responsible for production support of Oracle Cloud Revenue Management, Receivables, and Intercompany processes. This position serves as a key individual contributor providing day-to-day production support, ticket resolution, and close process assistance for the RMCS (Revenue Management Cloud Services) domain.
Why is this position open?
Backfill for an existing team member who is on a leave of absence. We need to maintain continuity of production support coverage for Oracle Revenue Management
processes during this period.
