CLIENT NOTEs
1-3 Years Responsible for the design and development of data visualizations and dashboards using data sets from various sources. Providing visual, technical and editorial expertise regarding visual content. Knowledge of data visualization tools used.
Note: The assignment is tentatively scheduled to last from 3 months to 3 years. HM is interested in filing these positions as soon as possible with a tentative start date in February of 2026 .
Job Description
The Planet Group is seeking a Data Visualization Engineer 1 design and develop of data visualizations and dashboards using data set form various sources.
Providing visual, technical and editorial expertise regarding visual content.
Knowledge of data visualization tools used.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (ex: Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or other relevant academic discipline) required. Advanced degree preferred
Experience with Python, SQL, R, Java, pandas, dbt, Git, Tableau, Power BI, Excel languages and applications
Ability to perform analytics using predictive modeling, machine learning, data mining, and statistical analysis
Experience with data engineering and infrastructure ETL, Data Pipelines, Data Warehousing-Azure, AWS, SAP
