Genesis10 is currently seeking a Salesforce QA Tester for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week) with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This individual will be accountable for ensuring comprehensive testing for a Salesforce platform, including in-sprint, system integration, and end-to-end regression testing. The role involves executing automation scripts, reporting testing status, and supporting business partners during UAT and post-production validation. The successful candidate will also assist the development team with critical defect triage.
Responsibilities: - Ensure in-sprint testing, system integrated testing, and end-to-end regression testing
- Execute automation test scripts and report testing status to management
- Adhere to enterprise change management guidelines
- Support business partners during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-production validation
- Support the development team for critical defect triage
- Determine general and specific quality requirements for products
- Create manual and automated software tests to identify functionality issues
- Analyze testing results and communicate solutions to developers
- Support post-production validation during weekends
- Work closely with and mentor other offshore team members
Requirements: - 5+ years of experience as a functional tester, including defect management and change management processes
- 5+ years of experience testing Salesforce applications, Financial Services Cloud, or Marketing Cloud
- Experience testing custom Salesforce applications and a relevant Salesforce Platform Specialist Certification
- Experience in API Testing with tools like Postman
- Experience with Mobile testing
- Experience writing SQL queries
- Experience with Agile Methodology
- Experience with AccelQ or Provar
- Experience with UFT or Selenium test automation
- Organized, motivated, team-player, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaborative, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired skills: - Salesforce Admin or Developer certification
Pay range: $49.37 - $57.37 per hour
