D365 SCM Techno-Functional Consultant (Gastonia, N.C.)

Position SummaryThe organization is seeking a D365 SCM Techno-Functional Consultant to provide onsite support that combines functional process knowledge with light technical execution. This role involves supporting the D365 environment, tracking tasks via Azure DevOps, troubleshooting integrations, validating data, and making minor customizations or configuration adjustments. The consultant will not be responsible for full-scale development but will assist in resolving technical blockers, understanding dependencies, and coordinating with the implementation partner to ensure smooth project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver light technical and techno-functional support for D365 SCM during testing, training, and go-live phases.Coordinate the D365 environment, triage issues, validate data, and troubleshoot both functional and technical dependencies.Assist with the use of Azure DevOps tools, including backlog management, defect documentation, status updates, and communication with technical teams.Perform minor customizations, tweaks, and configuration-related technical adjustments within scope.Support troubleshooting of integrations across D365, legacy systems, scanning devices, and plant execution systems.Collaborate with functional consultants to convert business issues into actionable technical tickets or solutions.Document technical findings, known issues, and support procedures to facilitate knowledge transfer.Required QualificationsA minimum of 5+ years of experience working with D365 Finance & Operations or AX, demonstrating a strong blend of functional supply chain management expertise and technical support capabilities.Hands-on experience with D365 SCM modules, X++ concepts, data entities, system integrations, environment management, and Azure DevOps is preferred.Proven ability to troubleshoot issues related to functional configuration, technical work items, data flows, and system integrations.Prior experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or supply chain system implementations is strongly preferred.Preferred QualificationsExperience specifically with D365 SCM modules, data management, and environment oversight.Familiarity with troubleshooting across various system components and technical configurations.Prior involvement in manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain projects utilizing D365 or similar systems.Why This Opportunity May Be AppealingThis role offers the chance to work directly onsite within a collaborative environment supporting innovative enterprise solutions.
