Senior Developer Advocate

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Durham, NC that is seeking a Senior Developer Advocate.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Hands-on development experience or experience as a systems analyst being part of a team in full-stack development within an Agile team environment
* Demonstrated expertise of being an excellent collaborator and an ambassador the developers
* Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) along with solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
* Knowledge of open-source systems and inner-source repositories
* Ability to collaborate across product teams to be the voice of developers and guide on product roadmap
* Experience leveraging DevAssist tools such as GitHub Copilot and Gemini Code Assist to optimize development workflows
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Desire to be detailed, very responsive, and committed to quality
* Experience working with the open-source community is a plus
* Video editing skills is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
