Job Description: Oracle Project Manager

Role Summary
As an Oracle Project Manager, you are the strategic engine driving complex enterprise initiatives from conception to delivery. You will lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, Finance, Sales, and IT) to deliver scalable solutions, whether building internal Cloud Infrastructure or implementing Oracle Cloud ERP for global clients. You are responsible for the "how" and "when" behind high-stakes technical products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Project Governance: Establish and maintain project plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and critical paths. Ensure all activities align with the Oracle Project Management Framework.
Execution & Delivery: Lead the full project lifecycle, from requirement gathering and technical design to unit testing and post-go-live support.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, quantify, and mitigate risks. Manage the project change control process to prevent scope creep.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for project health. Write Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs) and present status updates to senior leadership.
Resource Coordination: Assign priorities to staff, manage third-party contractors, and ensure global teams (offshore/onshore) are aligned.
Technical Liaison: (For Cloud/ERP) Oversee data extraction, transformation, and infrastructure build. (For OCI) Bridge the gap between hardware engineering and software development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years in Project Management (Senior) or 10+ years (Principal). For implementation roles, 3–5 end-to-end Oracle Cloud (ERP/SCM/HCM) implementations are typically required.
Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of Cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and system architecture. Ability to "speak the language" of engineers.
Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Oracle-specific methodologies like OUM (Oracle Unified Method).Tools: Expert-level use of JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and Oracle Project Management Cloud tools.
Certifications: * PMP or PRINCE2 (Strongly preferred).
Oracle Project Management Cloud 2026 Certified Implementation Professional (For consultants).
