Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead SRE / Application Support Engineer to lead production support, monitoring, and reliability initiatives across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AWS, observability tools, CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and cross-layer troubleshooting. This role requires strong technical leadership, proactive monitoring capabilities, and the ability to drive operational excellence in a microservices-based ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end application support across production and non-production environments.
  • Should have a Java application development background or application support experience
  • Design, implement, and optimize monitoring and alerting solutions using Splunk, OTEL and Grafana.
  • Write complex Splunk queries, create dashboards, alerts, and monitoring use cases in Splunk.
  • Drive root cause analysis and provide advanced troubleshooting across application, middleware, and infrastructure layers.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployments and operational stability.
  • Support and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to improve system reliability and performance.
  • Automate operational processes using scripting languages such as Python, Shell, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, incident management processes, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership in application support best practices.
