Senior Test Automation Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer in Irving, TX.

Responsibilities:
* Identify potential risks and contribute to quality and testing efforts
* Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and testing strategies
* Create and maintain automated testing solutions to improve product quality
* Perform functional and system testing throughout the development lifecycle
* Utilize testing tools and technologies to support quality assurance activities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are understood and validated
* Support the integration of testing processes into software delivery workflows
* Contribute ideas and solutions that enhance quality, efficiency, and user experience
* Promote continuous improvement and best practices in testing and quality assurance

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
* Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered
* Several years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a related field
* Experience developing and executing test strategies, test plans, and test cases
* Experience with test automation tools, frameworks, and methodologies
* Experience identifying risks, validating requirements, and supporting quality throughout the development lifecycle
* Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages
* Familiarity with databases, web technologies, cloud platforms, or related technologies
* Understanding of software development, deployment, and release processes
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience testing web, mobile, or enterprise applications
* Experience working within fast-paced software development environments
* Familiarity with agile development methodologies and collaborative team environments
* Knowledge of automated testing, performance testing, or continuous integration practices
* Ability to contribute to process improvements and quality initiatives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
