Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Fusion SCM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Manufacturing, Warehouse Management (WMS), and Inventory Management within Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. The ideal candidate will possess extensive functional consulting experience, strong client engagement skills, and hands-on configuration expertise in Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and cross-functional departments to design and deliver scalable supply chain solutions that support manufacturing operations and business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Business Consulting

  • Collaborate with business users, subject matter experts (SMEs), and leadership teams to understand business requirements, operational challenges, and transformation objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, requirement-gathering meetings, and business process discussions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by recommending Oracle Fusion SCM best-practice solutions aligned with client needs.
  • Drive consulting-led engagements and proactively identify opportunities for business value creation.

Oracle Fusion SCM Functional Solutioning

  • Configure, implement, and support Oracle Fusion SCM solutions across:
    • Oracle Fusion Manufacturing (Discrete and Process Manufacturing)
    • Oracle Fusion Inventory Management
    • Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud (WMS)
  • Provide functional expertise in:
    • Work Orders
    • Work Definitions
    • Bills of Materials (BOM)
    • Routings
    • Inventory transactions, including receiving, issuing, transfers, and cycle counting
    • Warehouse execution processes such as inbound receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
  • Ensure seamless end-to-end integration of SCM business processes across Oracle Fusion modules.

Delivery & Implementation

  • Lead and contribute to:
    • Solution design and architecture
    • Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
    • Business process flows
    • Conference Room Pilots (CRPs)
    • System Integration Testing (SIT)
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    • Production deployment and go-live support
  • Ensure adherence to project delivery methodologies, governance standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Partner with technical teams to design and support integrations with:
    • Third-Party Logistics (3PL) systems
    • Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
    • EDI platforms
    • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
    • REST APIs
  • Enable seamless transaction flow across Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory, and Logistics processes.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to:
    • Inventory discrepancies
    • Manufacturing execution errors
    • Warehouse transaction failures
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Oracle Fusion SCM Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience implementing and supporting:
    • Oracle Fusion Manufacturing
    • Oracle Fusion Inventory Management
    • Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS)
  • Deep understanding of:
    • End-to-end manufacturing lifecycle
    • Warehouse operations and inventory control
    • Supply chain execution processes

Domain Knowledge

  • Experience working within manufacturing environments, preferably in:
    • Food & Beverage
    • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)
    • Discrete Manufacturing
  • Strong exposure to:
    • Shop floor operations
    • Warehouse and logistics processes
    • Inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and control challenges

Professional Skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing consulting skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to lead workshops, business discussions, and solution design sessions.
  • Experience working in global delivery and cross-functional team environments.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud certifications.
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and SCM integrations.
  • Prior experience leading Oracle Fusion SCM transformation or implementation projects.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing best practices and supply chain optimization initiatives.
