OverviewTEKsystems is seeking an Asset Management Technician for our client based out of Bowling Green, Kentucky. This long-term opportunity supports asset management and light technical operations within a warehouse or distribution environment. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, processing equipment requests, and preparing hardware for deployment.
The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Process hardware and equipment requests through a ticketing system
- Maintain and manage inventory levels within the distribution center
- Perform regular asset reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy
- Track and process damaged, lost, or missing equipment
- Manage consumable inventory and supplies
- Coordinate disposal of outdated or non-functional equipment following established procedures
- Prepare hardware for deployment, including basic system setup and configuration
- Support technicians by staging and organizing equipment for deployment
- Maintain accurate records of asset lifecycle and inventory status
Work Environment- Warehouse or distribution center setting
- May involve some travel to transport or pick up equipment
- Requires attention to detail and adherence to process and documentation standards
Qualifications- Experience with asset management, inventory control, or technical support preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Basic technical aptitude with hardware and system setup
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements
