Role Summary

Dallas-based client seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead design and ownership of scalable data pipelines and analytics-ready data products using Palantir Foundry. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on ETL/ELT, data governance, and enterprise analytics enablement.

🔹 Core Technical Stack

Palantir Foundry (Pipeline Builder, Workshop)
Python (pandas, PySpark)
SQL
ETL / ELT Pipelines
Data Modeling & Medallion Architecture
Cloud Data Lake / Warehouse
Git Version Control

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Build & own end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using Palantir Foundry, PySpark, pandas, SQL
Design scalable data integrations across ERP, CRM, POS, Ads platforms
Develop analytics-ready datasets & curated data products
Create data applications using Palantir Workshop
Implement data governance, RBAC, and quality standards
Optimize data lake/warehouse performance
Lead design reviews, set engineering standards, and mentor junior engineers
Automate reporting & analytics workflows
Maintain technical documentation and monitoring processes

🔹 Must-Have Requirements

5+ years in Data Engineering / Analytics Engineering / BI
Strong hands-on Palantir Foundry experience
Advanced PySpark + SQL
Strong Python (pandas; polars is a plus)
Experience with enterprise data integrations (ERP/CRM/POS)
Data governance & access control experience
Medallion architecture & data modeling knowledge
Experience working with business & analytics stakeholders

🔹 Nice to Have

Palantir certifications
Marketing platform data (Meta Ads, Google Ads)
Domain experience: maritime, real estate, hospitality, asset-heavy orgs

Finance / operations / revenue analytics support
