Role summary:

As a Software Engineer III, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that align with business and technical requirements. This position demands expertise in coding, testing, and debugging across multiple platforms and languages, with a focus on continuous integration and delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, implement secure and efficient code, and ensure high-quality performance. The role emphasizes adherence to standards, proactive problem-solving, and contributing to ongoing improvements in software development processes to support organizational goals.
About the team:

Walmart-VIZIO's Embedded Software organization develops cross-platform UI application experiences for millions of Smart TV customers. Our teams build high-performance, visually polished interfaces running on embedded Linux-based devices. As part of our unified engi-neering organization, you will collaborate closely with product, design, platform, and system engineering groups to deliver exceptional end to-end consumer experiences.
What you'll do:

Develop and enhance UI applications running on an embedded Linux environment.
Implement features within the UI engine and application stack with a focus on performance, smooth rendering, and system stability.
Contribute to design discussions and support development of distributed UI architecture components.
Build solutions that meet performance, memory, and device-level constraints across various SoCs.
Investigate and resolve issues across UI layers, middleware, and system integration points.
Collaborate with product, design, QA, and platform teams to ensure alignment on requirements and expected behaviors.
Participate in code reviews, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll bring:

o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
o 4+ years of experience with C++ or another systems level programming language.
o Experience with UI frameworks, rendering pipelines, or embedded UI systems.
o Strong problem solving skills and ability to understand complex system inter-actions.
o Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality code with attention to detail.
o Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast moving engineering environment.
o Familiarity with React Native, React
o Exposure to game loops, animation frameworks, or rendering stacks in embedded UI environments.
o Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
