OverviewThis position is responsible for the planning, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise audio visual systems with a primary focus on collaboration platforms and executive conferencing environments. Provides advance production support and technical leadership for virtual meeting infrastructure and boardroom technology. Serves as the subject matter expert in video conferencing systems, ensuring optimal performance availability, and user experience for high-visibility meetings and executive communications.
Leads the administration, integration, and lifecycle management of hardware and software supporting enterprise collaboration spaces. Including executive boardrooms and conference facilities. Installs, automates, monitors, and tests AV infrastructure to support business-critical communications. Proactively identifies performance or usability issues and drives resolution to ensure reliable and seamless meeting experiences.
Responsibilities- T echnical Support - Leads technical support and service delivery for enterprise collaboration platforms within conference rooms and executive boardroom environments. Responsible for installation, configuration, and testing of AV hardware, conferencing systems, firmware, and platform updates supporting virtual meetings and hybrid collaboration.
- System Testing - Coordinates testing with support staff to determine function, results, stability, performance, and resource consumption. Verifies the successful implementation of software, patches, and upgrades. Performs a variety of planning and technical activities to ensure resource availability.
- System Enhancement - Works to continuously monitor and improve systems, processes, and related technical infrastructure. Improves technical effectiveness by automating tasks, and utilizing programming or scripting to perform support duties.
- Technical Expertise - Maintains a strong knowledge base through ongoing research and education. Communicates effective and clear technical information to associates, vendor support personnel, and internal clients. Manages special or advanced technical projects. Provides guidance, mentorship, and leadership to less experienced associates in the work group.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Systems engineer and systems programmer OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Systems engineer and systems programmer
