Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Primary Skills: Windows/Linux Dedicated Compute, JavaScript, Shell Script, BladeLogic NSH, Python, Perl
- Secondary Skills: Monitoring and deployment tooling
- Experience: Minimum 5 years
Roles & Responsibilities
- Hands-on shell scripting and Linux system administration experience.
- Hands-on Java application hosting on Linux experience.
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Shell Script, BladeLogic NSH, Python, and Perl.
- Thorough understanding of server certificate implementation / TLS and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Experience with Glassbox especially, as well as monitoring tools such as Tealeaf, Splunk, SiteScope, etc.
- Experience with deployment tools such as BladeLogic, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, and/or AutoSys.
- Experience working in a secure, multi-data center environment (including basic understanding of firewall rules).
- Strong debugging, analytical, and regular expressions (Regex) skills.
- Strong network troubleshooting skills using standard tools (Ping, nslookup, traceroute, curl).
- Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate work across system admins, network engineers, and end users.
- Self-starter with a track record of delivering complex solutions with minimal oversight.
