Position Description:
Join a dynamic team as a C# Developer supporting the migration and modernization of web applications from .NET Framework to .NET 6+. This contract role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant technology upgrades, including rewriting WebForms into Blazor Server apps, converting WCF services into RESTful APIs, and optimizing code for performance and reliability. Work on-site in Montgomery, AL, collaborating with management through regular meetings and code reviews. Ideal for professionals with strong C# skills and experience in web application conversions, APIs, and SQL Server integration.
Top Requirements:
- Experience migrating and converting web applications and web services from .NET Framework to .NET 6+ using C#
- Proficiency in rewriting ASP.NET WebForms to Blazor Server applications and converting WCF services into RESTful APIs
- At least 1 year of experience writing clean, maintainable C# code, performing functional testing, and optimizing code for performance and reliability
- Strong SQL skills, including writing SQL queries for Microsoft SQL Server
- Understanding of software development best practices and coding standards
