• Architect scalable, high-performance, secure, and highly available database solutions.
• Design, configure, launch, and manage AWS database and data processing services.
• Configure and optimize EMR clusters for performance and cost efficiency.
• Integrate databases with AWS services including Lambda, S3, EC2, and Glue.
• Design and implement backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and failover solutions, including Multi-AZ and read replicas.
• Troubleshoot AWS database and data processing issues and incidents.
• Design, implement, and manage virtual data warehouses in Snowflake.
• Develop complex SQL queries for data analysis, transformation, and reporting.
• Optimize queries through indexing, caching, clustering, performance tuning, and auto-scaling.
• Design relational and NoSQL database schemas, data models, and normalized structures.
• Implement AWS security best practices, including IAM, encryption, VPCs, security groups, and access controls.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data management policies.
• Automate database and workflow management using CloudFormation, Terraform, AWS CLI, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Integrate Snowflake with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Support data ingestion, transformation, loading, and pipeline development in Snowflake.
• Provide guidance and technical support to junior and mid-level developers.
• Communicate technical concepts and architectural recommendations to management, customers, teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

• Strong experience designing and managing Snowflake virtual data warehouses.
• Knowledge of Snowflake micro-partitions, schema design, normalization, and efficient data structures.
• Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and loading using Snowflake features and integration tools.
• Knowledge of Snowflake RBAC, encryption, and security best practices.
• Experience integrating Snowflake with Tableau, Power BI, and other analytics platforms.
