Summary

Position: Senior Business Analyst
Position Brief:

 

Only local to Texas.

 

The candidate will perform advanced business analysis for the Mainframe Transformation Program at the Railroad Commission of Texas, gathering requirements and reverse-engineering legacy systems.

  • Required: 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst performing requirement gathering, business process review, and documentation for complex IT projects
  • Required: Experience working on Mainframe Transformation, legacy system reverse engineering, and data migration initiatives
  • Required: Experience with SaaS, Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) implementations, and Data Warehouse projects
  • Required: Experience creating and validating user acceptance testing (UAT) and producing design documentation
  • Preferred: Prior experience with Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) or Oil and Gas regulatory systems

Screen out candidates lacking hands-on legacy system reverse-engineering and data migration experience; the ideal candidate brings strong COTS/SaaS implementation background in the public sector.
