Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite Financial modules. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial business processes and hands-on experience working with core Oracle EBS Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Bank Integration.

The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver effective financial solutions, resolve complex application issues, and improve existing finance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Oracle EBS Finance implementation, enhancement, and production support activities.
  • Gather business requirements, analyze existing processes, and translate business needs into functional solutions.
  • Configure and maintain Oracle EBS Finance modules to meet business and operational requirements.
  • Work closely with business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Support integrations between Oracle EBS Finance and external banking or financial systems.
  • Assist with data migration, system upgrades, patching, and functional testing.
  • Troubleshoot complex functional issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and business process documentation.
  • Develop and execute test scenarios and support system integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide end-user training and ongoing functional support.
  • Ensure financial system configurations and processes comply with internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 10–15 years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance.
  • Strong functional knowledge of the following Oracle EBS Finance modules:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Fixed Assets (FA)
    • Cash Management (CE)
    • Bank Integration
  • Experience in Oracle EBS Finance implementations, configurations, and production support.
  • Strong understanding of financial business processes and accounting workflows.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
