Job Title: Lead Data Engineer / Data Architect
Location: Remote (Client Based In Pittsburgh, PA)
Type: Contract

Our client is looking for a Lead Data Engineer / Architect with strong hands-on experience designing and building modern cloud data platforms. This role will lead data architecture and guide engineering efforts on an enterprise Snowflake environment.

Key skills:
- Strong experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance, architecture)
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory
- Deep familiarity with medallion architecture, data vault, and Snowflake schema designs
- Experience designing scalable, reliable data pipelines
- Strong SQL and data engineering fundamentals
- Health insurance data domain experience (claims, enrollment, eligibility, provider, etc.)

Role highlights:
