Job Overview:
Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- 7+ years of experience with Oracle Grid Control, including version 13c.
- 7+ years of experience with Oracle WebLogic 12c/Fusion Middleware.
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle APEX administration and support.
- 10+ years of experience with Oracle DB migration from Solaris to Linux (database 12c/11g).
- 10+ years of experience with Oracle database backup/restore/RMAN/Data Guard.
- 10+ years of experience with Oracle performance tuning/database maintenance/management.
- 10+ years of experience with on-call production support.
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle cloud setup/AWS/Azure administration.
- 5+ years of experience with Windows/SQL Server/IIS administration.
- Experience with Oracle database 19c and above.
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage Oracle OCI environments, including database, middleware, and infrastructure components.
- Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications and ORDS services.
- Configure and administer Oracle WebLogic Server and related technologies.
- Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and conversions.
- Implement and manage backup, recovery, and replication strategies using RMAN and other tools.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data protection.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, implementing tuning recommendations.
- Implement and automate routine tasks using shell scripting and tools like Ansible.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless application deployment.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues, providing timely support.
- Document and train on best practices for Oracle OCI environment management.
Nice to Have:
- Certification in Oracle technologies such as OCIP, OCP, or OCE.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and API integration.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecture.
- Ability to design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Experience with Oracle OEM Cloud Control for monitoring and management.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript.
- In-depth knowledge of database security best practices.
- Expertise in performance tuning and optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to provide 24/7 support and troubleshoot critical issues.
