Title: Mainframe Quality Assurance (ONLY W2)
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of extension)
Location: 100% Remote
No. of Hours/Week: 40

Project Overview:

This project includes making federally and state mandated changes for a Medicaid system. The position will perform Quality Assurance (QA) and Business Interface Testing (UA) requirements and support User Acceptance (UA) testing of software coding changes related to Medicaid systems data. Testing will include working with users and external healthcare providers and trading partners as needed. This role requires interfacing with other agencies and internal subsystems.

Daily Duties and Responsibilities:

• This is a Quality Assurance Tester position, not a Programmer, BA, or Project Manager role.
• Work collaboratively with the project team to test coding changes.
• Create test scenarios and execute tests.
• Analyze test results and resolve differences between actual and expected outcomes.
• Support User Acceptance Testing.
• Communicate effectively in written and spoken formats.
• Assist with business, process, and technical documentation.
• Provide subject matter expertise as needed.
• Collaborate with internal and contracted staff.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience with Mainframe
• 4+ years of experience with Cobol
• 4+ years of experience with JCL
• 4+ years of experience creating and executing test scenarios
• 4+ years of experience with healthcare claims processing
