Summary:
The candidate is responsible for debugging PC hardware platforms, building systems, and configuring hardware. This role involves installing and running various PC operating systems and requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Debug PC hardware platforms and build systems.
Configure hardware and install various PC operating systems, including Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux, and Netware.
Follow technical directions carefully and accurately.
Run predefined software installation and tests in a controlled environment.
Record system setup and test results accurately.
Assist in layout changes in the lab by rewiring configurations and assisting with machine placements.
Manage networking and server operations.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent required for US candidates.
4-6 years of relevant experience.

Skills

Experience with debugging PC hardware platforms.
Proficiency in building systems and configuring hardware.
Familiarity with various PC operating systems including Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux, and Netware.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Networking and server management experience.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $20.00 - $24.75 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus. Sick leave and mobile phone reimbursement provided based on state or local law.
