Job Description


We are seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile program delivery, SDLC best practices, and financial services domains and a proven ability to lead ART execution, align technology solutions to business objectives, and drive measurable outcomes across cross-functional teams.


Responsibilities:



  • Own and manage a component of a technology portfolio within a single business unit or line of business.

  • Serve as the single point of contact and escalation path between business partners and IT for complex issues and service requests.

  • Translate business strategy into work programs, roadmaps, and executable backlogs across functional groups.

  • Drive creation and delivery of technology solutions aligned to business needs and objectives.

  • Lead Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies including PI planning, scrum of scrums, and system demos.

  • Monitor and report on delivery health, risks, dependencies, velocity, and burndown across teams.

  • Mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members on Agile practices and continuous improvement.

  • Coordinate release management, scope, estimation, and stakeholder communications.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Solid knowledge of design principles and design patterns.

  • Strong background in disciplined SDLC processes.

  • Understanding of financial and banking processes and domain concepts.

  • Effective communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager.

  • Hands-on experience working within Agile methodologies.

  • Proficiency in authoring BRDs, wireframes, epics, user stories, process flows, data mapping, test plans, and use cases.

  • Extensive experience in a Scrum Master or RTE environment.

  • Expertise in Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, burndown and velocity reporting, backlog prioritization, and retrospectives.

  • Ability to partner with both business and technology stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with Agile tools such as JIRA or Rally, and collaboration tools including Wiki and SharePoint for scope, estimation, status, reporting, and escalation.


Preferred Skills:



  • Scaled Agile experience with PI planning and multi-team coordination.

  • Experience in enterprise financial platforms or regulatory initiatives.


Engagement Details



  • Start window in October or November. Maximum of three submissions per vendor. Two openings total, with only one in Plano.

  • Hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days onsite per week.

  • Interview process includes one to two video rounds. In-person attendance and Glider ID verification are required.

  • Potential contract-to-hire. Candidates must not require sponsorship now or in the future.
