The Platform Data Developer is responsible for supporting the design, development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) platform. This role serves as a key link between business process requirements and technical solution delivery across SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, reporting tools, and approved enterprise data sources. The individual in this role will develop and maintain the data structures, workflows, dashboards, integrations, and AI-enabled capabilities required to support a reliable, scalable, and user-friendly operational workspace for Complex Projects. The position requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise, strong analytical capability, and the ability to translate PMO needs into governed and sustainable platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint-based data structures including lists, libraries, metadata, views, permissions, and related site architecture to support the PPM operating model.
• Develop and support Power Automate workflows for intake, approvals, reminders, milestone tracking, document completeness checks, and other repeatable PMO processes.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models, and reporting views that provide visibility into project status, milestones, risks, commercial controls, and portfolio health.
• Develop Power Apps, forms, or low-code applications where needed to simplify data capture, improve usability, and reduce manual effort for PMs and support teams.
• Support integration of the PPM platform with enterprise data sources such as SAP, Salesforce, Snowflake, OnePM, and other approved systems, in coordination with system owners and IT.
• Configure and validate AI-related capabilities such as SharePoint agents, Copilot-assisted experiences, metadata enrichment, and governed content structures that improve search and summarization quality.
• Partner with PMO stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, prototype solutions, and iterate based on pilot feedback and operational needs.
• Maintain data governance, naming standards, documentation, and support materials to ensure the platform remains usable, scalable, and supportable over time.
• Provide user support, troubleshooting, and training for PMO and project users adopting the new platform capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience developing solutions in SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365, including lists, libraries, permissions, site configuration, and content governance.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Apps, including workflow design, data modeling, and dashboard/report development.
• Ability to work with structured and semi-structured data, perform data transformation, and support reporting solutions across multiple business systems.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and documentation.
• Working knowledge of enterprise integrations, APIs, SQL or related data tools, and reporting architecture is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with PMO, project managers, commercial stakeholders, and technical support teams.
• Ability to work independently in a small, evolving program environment and build practical solutions that balance governance, usability, and speed to value.
