Cloud Security Architect
We are seeking a Cloud Security Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of secure cloud environments. This role will drive cloud security strategy, identity and access management, security operations, and compliance while partnering with cross-functional teams to support enterprise cloud initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain secure cloud architecture across Azure and Microsoft cloud technologies.
- Develop and implement identity and access management strategies, including RBAC, privileged access, and authentication controls.
- Establish cloud security standards, governance, and best practices.
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize cloud security tools, monitoring, and threat detection capabilities.
- Partner with infrastructure, engineering, DevOps, and compliance teams to integrate security into cloud solutions.
- Oversee security operations and third-party security service providers to ensure timely incident response and continuous improvement.
- Ensure cloud environments meet security, regulatory, and compliance requirements while mitigating risk.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud security initiatives and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of enterprise IT experience with 4+ years focused on cloud security or security architecture.
- Experience securing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Strong knowledge of IAM, SIEM, cloud security technologies, and security operations.
- Familiarity with cloud security frameworks, compliance standards, and automation.
- Relevant cloud or cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
