Low Voltage Technician LVL 1-2

We are hiring structured cabling technicians for a long-term commercial project in North Charleston, SC, including new construction and existing facilities.

Openings

• 2 Level 1-2 Technicians
• 1 Level 3 Technician

Level 3 Technician

Responsibilities

• Run and install structured cabling (Cat6) in commercial environments
• Perform punch-downs (66 & 110) and terminate jacks in telecom closets
• Hang and route cable using J-hooks
• Work alongside lead technicians and permanent field staff

Requirements

• Strong experience with Cat6 cabling, punch-downs, and terminations
• Must have own tools: punch-down tool (66/110), snips, knife
• Reliable, punctual, and professional on job sites

Level 1-2 Technicians

Responsibilities

• Pull and route Cat6 cabling
• Hang cable using J-hooks
• Support lead technicians and learn punch-downs and terminations
• Maintain clean, safe work areas

Requirements

• Some cabling or construction experience preferred
• Steel-toed boots required
• Must have snips and knife
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

Job Site Requirements

• Steel-toed boots required
• PPE provided
• Customer-facing environment - must be presentable and able to communicate professionally

Skills

• Cat6 cabling
• Punch-downs
• Termination & testing

Expectations

This is a production job site. Candidates must:

• Show up consistently and on time
• Stay off phones during work hours
• Maintain a positive attitude and not slow down the team

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of North Charleston, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
