Cyber Security Research Consultant

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Cyber Security Research Consultant.
 
Position type: Full-time, Contract (W2)
Duration: 12 Months Contract w/ extension. 
Location: Charlotte, NC/ Chandler, AZ – 3 days onsite
 
Overview: Client is seeking a dedicated Cyber Security Research Consultant. The ideal candidate will contribute to moderately complex initiatives within Cyber Security Research, supporting large-scale planning and problem-solving efforts. You will review and analyze security challenges, collaborate with client personnel, and ensure deliverables meet organizational policies, procedures, and compliance standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic environment, helping to strengthen cybersecurity initiatives across the organization.
 
As a Cyber Security Research Consultant, you will:
 
Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex Cyber Security Research initiatives and deliverables. 
• Analyze and review cybersecurity challenges, providing in-depth evaluations of variable factors. 
• Contribute to the resolution of issues and collaborate with team members to meet project goals. 
• Support large-scale planning efforts related to Cyber Security Research activities. 
• Work closely with client personnel to ensure project deliverables align with policies and compliance standards. 
• Assist in troubleshooting complex problems and developing effective solutions in cybersecurity contexts.

• Experience in Cyber Security Research or equivalent, demonstrated through work experience, consulting, military service, or education. 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate variable factors affecting cybersecurity challenges. 
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. 
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with client teams and stakeholders. 
• Ability to contribute to planning, problem resolution, and strategic initiatives within Cyber Security Research.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $60- $64 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate''s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
