As a Software Engineer intern, you would participate in application design, development, verification, troubleshooting and delivery of a system or major subsystems. This position requires an individual to be creative, team-oriented, technology savvy and driven to produce results.
Essential Functions:
- Participate in functional and technical discussions within the team or other groups within/across the Business Unit
- Write advanced / complex SQL with performance tuning and optimization
- Identify ways to improve data reliability, data integrity, system efficiency and quality
- Assist with development and testing activities
- Assist in organizing and analyzing data for AI/ML initiatives
- Learn and apply basic programming skills like Python
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers on innovative projects
Job Requirements- Work collaboratively within teams to meet goals and high-quality standards
- Proven aptitude for learning new technologies
- Familiarity of basic concepts of computer architecture, data structures and standard programming practices
- Proficiency in one more of programming languages (Example: SQL/Python, Java etc.)
- Creative and analytical approach to problem solving
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Responsibility and Interaction:
- Mix of structured and unstructured tasks
- Apply attained experiences and knowledge for solving routine to complex problems
EducationMust be enrolled in an educational or professional program through summer 2026 or later, preferrably pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.
