Job DescriptionYou will be the RF Engineer Staff for the F35 System Integration Labs (SIL) F-35 Emitter Development (EMDEV) team which is responsible for ensuring the lab has the capabilities to allow testing of operational flight programs on multiple sensors.
What You Will Be DoingAs the RF Engineer Staff you will be responsible for developing EW emitter definitions and waveforms, creating realistic EW simulations, and supporting lab integration and testing to achieve verification milestones.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop electronic warfare emitter definitions and waveforms for the EW Stimulator.
- Provide technical assistance for system requirements, design, integration, and validation.
- Engage with simulation software, hardware development, and subsystem procurement teams.
- Perform verification and validation activities on the EW Stimulator with radar systems.
- Create software tools and support mission-system testing as needed.

Basic Qualifications Experience with Radar and/or Electronic Warfare Systems (EW)
Background and experience with RF simulations across a suite of various EWS systems.
Desired skills Experience in performing one or more of the following: system requirements development, system test development, system integration and/or verification
Experience with Radar and/or Electronic Warfare Systems (EW)
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited college or university OR 12+ years of relevant experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Previous ELINT/SIGINT experience (military or civilian) highly desired
Experience with Python programming and ability to create software tools
Experience in performing systems integration of the Direct Inject RF stimulators and/or verification (CEESIM, A2PATS, NEWEG, etc.).
Experience with aircraft avionics sensors including Radar or electronic warfare, electronic
attack, electronic protection (EW / EA / EP)
Knowledgeable of F-35 Missions System Architecture
Electrical troubleshooting skills, knowledge and use of test equipment (RF Spectrum and Network Analyzers, Function /Signal Generators, etc.)
Strong computer skills (MS Office, JIRA, PC/Linux, etc.)
Strong work ethic, attention-to-detail and self-motivation

Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $217,695. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Premium Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $142,000 - $246,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
