Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and optimize SQL Server environments in a collaborative IT organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical leadership skills and a commitment to database innovation, ensuring high performance and reliability in our database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support Microsoft SQL Server environments, including VM servers.
• Collaborate with cross-agency database administrators on various database platforms, including Azure Cloud and Oracle.
• Ensure best practices in database design, configuration, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Provide Tier III technical support and lead incident resolution efforts.
• Develop technical documentation, project plans, and interact with stakeholders for proposed solutions.

Required Technical Skills:

• 6+ years of experience with DevOps tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc.).
• 6+ years of experience configuring SQL services, coordinating releases, and managing upgrades.
• 6+ years of experience managing SQL Databases in both on-prem and cloud environments.
• 6+ years of experience providing DBA support in multi-datacenter settings.
• Experience working with Azure Cloud and Oracle databases.
