Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (3-month contract)
Location: Dublin, OH
Pay Range: $39.04/hr


Job Overview

We\'re looking for a skilled Controls System Technician III to join a dynamic field service team supporting HVAC and building automation systems for a top-tier client. In this role, you\'ll be the trusted technical expert on-site ? commissioning systems, resolving controls issues, and delivering real solutions that keep buildings running efficiently. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives on hands-on troubleshooting, enjoys variety in their workday, and wants to grow into a long-term career with real advancement potential.


? What\'s the Job?

    \t
  • Perform system-level commissioning using client configuration and commissioning tools \t
  • Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls issues \t
  • Calibrate systems using electronic test equipment \t
  • Load and configure system-level controller software \t
  • Complete commissioning documentation and as-built records \t
  • Communicate job progress and issues with management and on-site contacts \t
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, identifying solutions and improvement opportunities on-site \t
  • Travel to client sites (approx. 80%) within a 110-mile radius of the office

? What\'s Needed?

    \t
  • Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, HVAC, or similar field + 3 years of related experience, OR 4+ years of experience servicing electronic/mechanical systems in the HVAC industry \t
  • Hands-on experience with controls systems (not engineering/design-focused) \t
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, coolers, and building automation/controls \t
  • Tridium certification preferred \t
  • Experience working for a controls contractor is a plus \t
  • Strong work tenure and employment stability \t
  • Excellent communication skills ? comfortable explaining technical topics to non-technical audiences \t
  • Reliable personal vehicle for travel (mileage reimbursed)
