Senior Oracle EBS / EAM Consultant

Position Summary: We are seeking a hands-on Contract Systems Specialist – Oracle to support a critical Oracle eBusiness Systems environment. This role will provide technical development, application administration, production support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.15, with a strong focus on Oracle Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle APEX, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), PL/SQL, SQL, Java, and Oracle Workflow, along with experience supporting enterprise applications and integrations. This position will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, Oracle Support, and external vendors to develop solutions, resolve complex issues, and maintain reliable business applications. 

Key Responsibilities:

•     Provide technical development, administration, and production support for Oracle EBS and Oracle EAM.

•     Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain custom Oracle applications and enhancements.

•     Develop and maintain solutions using Oracle APEX, OAF, PL/SQL, SQL, Java, and Oracle Workflow.

•     Support and provide backup coverage for integrations between Oracle EAM, dataPARC, and enterprise asset management platforms. •     Troubleshoot complex application, database, and interface issues and coordinate resolution with Oracle Support and external vendors. •     Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

•     Support application changes, enhancements, testing, deployments, and production releases.

•     Follow established change management, documentation, and SOX compliance processes.

•     Develop and maintain technical documentation, application procedures, and support materials.

•     Contribute to application modernization, integration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

•     Work independently while collaborating with developers, system administrators, business users, and other technical teams.

Required Qualifications:

•     Bachelors  degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

•     15+ years of IT application development and production support experience.

•     3+ years of experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite.

•     3+ years of hands-on Oracle OAF customization/development experience.

•     3+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX development experience.

•     Strong hands-on experience with PL/SQL and SQL.

•     Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications and integrations.

•     Strong written and verbal communication skills.

•     Ability to work onsite.

Preferred Qualifications

•     Hands-on Oracle EAM experience.

•     Experience with Oracle EBS R12.2.15.

•     Oracle Workflow development/support experience.

•     Java development experience.

•     Python development or automation experience.

•     Enterprise SaaS integration experience.

•     Experience with Boomi or similar integration platforms.

•     Experience working with GE Vernova APM, dataPARC, or similar asset performance management solutions.

•     Experience working within SOX-controlled environments and formal change management processes.

•     Experience working directly with Oracle Support and third-party vendors.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is an Oracle EBS application developer/support specialist who combines strong hands-on OAF, APEX, PL/SQL, and SQL development skills with enterprise production support experience. Oracle EAM experience is highly desirable, particularly for candidates who have supported integrations and complex application issues in an enterprise environment.
