Job Title: Salesforce Functional Consultant / Business Analyst (Trade Promotion Management)
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Functional Consultant / Business Analyst with strong expertise in Trade Promotion Management (TPM) within the CPG/Retail industry. The ideal candidate will work closely with Sales, Finance, Commercial Planning, and IT teams to gather requirements, design scalable Salesforce solutions, and optimize trade promotion processes including budgeting, fund management, claims processing, rebates, and promotion planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements related to trade promotions, trade spend, rebates, deductions, and claims management.
- Analyze and map end-to-end TPM business processes and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
- Configure Salesforce applications, workflows, automations, account hierarchies, and reporting dashboards.
- Collaborate with development teams to create functional specifications and user stories.
- Support ERP integrations with SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
- Lead UAT, user training, change management, and deployment activities.
- Develop reports and dashboards to track promotion performance, ROI, and trade spend effectiveness.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of Salesforce Functional Consultant / Business Analyst experience.
- Strong Trade Promotion Management (TPM) domain expertise.
- Experience with Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud preferred.
- Knowledge of trade spend management, rebates, deductions, bill-backs, and claims processing.
- Experience gathering business requirements and creating functional specifications.
- Familiarity with Salesforce configuration, workflows, and declarative automation.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Strong reporting and analytics experience using CRM Analytics/Tableau.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in CPG, Retail, Consumer Goods, or Distribution industries.
- Salesforce certifications (Admin, Business Analyst, Sales Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
