Job Description:

The AWS Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions on AWS.
This role provides architectural leadership across networking, security, DevOps, automation, containerization, and data engineering initiatives.
The position requires deep hands-on expertise with AWS core services and the ability to design end-to-end cloud-native and data-driven applications.

Requirement/Must Have:

15+ years of overall IT experience.
5+ years of strong hands-on experience with AWS core services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS/Aurora, EKS, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
Experience building applications using AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Glue, Aurora, SQS, SNS, and S3.
Strong AWS networking and security expertise including VPC design, subnets, route tables, NAT, security groups, NACLs, IAM policies, roles, and STS.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
Strong programming skills in Python (mandatory) and Bash scripting.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools including CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/OpenSearch.
Strong knowledge of SQL.
Experience in production support and monitoring.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement secure and scalable AWS cloud architectures.
Build and deploy cloud-native applications and event-driven architectures.
Design and manage VPC networking, IAM policies, and security controls.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure deployments.
Implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
Build and manage structured and semi-structured data pipelines using AWS services.
Monitor system health, performance, and availability using logging and monitoring tools.
Provide production support and troubleshoot cloud-based applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.

Should Have:

Conceptual knowledge of AWS ECS, Fargate, and ECR.
Experience with PySpark.
Knowledge of Pega.

Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Deep understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systems.
Ability to design highly available and fault-tolerant systems.

Qualification And Education:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field required.
AWS certifications preferred.
