Salary Range: $71,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain server infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux) and virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Administer and support network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
• Implement and monitor data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across manufacturing operations.
• Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems through regular patching, vulnerability assessments, and access control management.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize IT systems for operational efficiency and support manufacturing processes (e.g., MES, SCADA).

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as an IT Systems Administrator, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in managing and maintaining Windows Server environments (e.g., Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs).
• Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues efficiently.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA or MES systems.
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments.
• Experience with virtualization in a production environment.
• Scripting proficiency (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for task automation.
