Job Title: IT Network Engineer III
Location: Hybrid (required) - 1 day/week onsite; preference for candidates within 1 hour of Charlotte, NC or Corning, NY
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and wireless network solutions.
- Configure and troubleshoot advanced routing (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies using Cisco and Arista platforms.
- Design, deploy, and maintain MIST wireless infrastructure for high availability and performance.
- Automate network deployments and operations using Ansible, Terraform, Python, REST APIs, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Support Arista CloudVision and modern network management platforms.
- Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, security, and application teams on enterprise initiatives.
- Develop network documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate emerging technologies to improve network performance, scalability, and security.
- Participate in on-call support and travel up to 30% as needed.
Required Skills- 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
- Advanced expertise with Cisco and Arista networking technologies.
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN architectures.
- Experience with Arista CloudVision.
- Hands-on experience with network automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and REST APIs.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong wireless networking experience, preferably with MIST.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud networking.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Manufacturing or Operational Technology (OT) networking experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications- CCNP, Arista ACE, MIST, or comparable networking certifications.
- Experience supporting large-scale global enterprise networks.
- Financial and vendor management experience is beneficial.
