Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Lead – BPM & Appian to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise workflow automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Appian BPM, Java/J2EE, microservices, cloud technologies, and enterprise application architecture.
This role requires a technical leader who can drive solution design, mentor development teams, optimize business processes, and support large-scale production applications within a financial services environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development and BPM technologies.
- Strong technical leadership experience with Appian BPM platform.
- Deep expertise in:
- Appian process modeling
- SAIL development
- Appian integrations
- Appian objects
- Business rules
- Experience designing and implementing:
- Enterprise workflows
- Case management solutions
- Complex process automation applications
- Strong knowledge of:
- Microservices architecture
- REST APIs
- Event-driven architecture
- Oracle database
- Snowflake integrations
- Hands-on experience with cloud and DevOps technologies:
- AWS
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Git
- Jenkins
- Maven
- CI/CD pipelines
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as:
- AWS Kiro
- Amazon Q
- Microsoft Copilot
- Similar AI development tools
- Strong UI/UX design experience including:
- Responsive application design
- Accessibility standards
- Appian interface development
- Ability to:
- Lead development teams
- Review technical designs and code
- Optimize workflows and application performance
