Pay Range: $56 - $57/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor social platforms and cultural discourse to identify trends and audience behaviors.
- Translate insights from social listening and community feedback into strategic recommendations.
- Concept, create, and publish engaging content across X, Reddit, Discord, TikTok, YouTube, Meta, and emerging channels.
- Develop and execute content strategies and editorial calendars, balancing planned campaigns with real-time opportunities.
- Write compelling, platform-specific copy that reflects a strong brand voice and engages audiences.
- Partner with creative teams to ensure insights influence content development and execution.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager and/or Content Creator, with a strong portfolio of original, platform-native work.
- 5+ years of experience launching new brand social channels from the ground up is a plus.
- High proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects or equivalent creative tools.
- Experience with social media management, listening, and engagement platforms, such as Sprinklr, Plot, or similar tools.
- Exceptional copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging across platforms.
- Strong expertise in social media platforms, community management, and social best practices.
- Deep understanding of social trends, internet culture, and audience behavior.
