Summary

Role: ID- DHW - Project Manager (813678)

Location: Boise, Idaho(Hybrid-Locals)

Candidate MUST be local to the Boise, Idaho area

Required:

5 years of Project management experience in technology projects in health care or state government.

5 years experience working with Idaho state agencies(Highly Desired).

5 years experience with change management, organizing training, and communication to ensure a smooth roll-out of new systems and processes.

5 years experience with system and data conversion from legacy systems to new systems.

5 years experience with state Medicaid agencies(Highly Desired)

Job Description:

  • Lead the implementation of the new Medicaid Management Information System modules and components from beginning to end, identifying schedule, scope, budget, implementation plan, and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate with all vendors and project managers via a master schedule and project governance to monitor risks, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Ensure end product meets requirements and deliverables for the EDW.
  • Coordinate resources across multiple vendors and state teams through planning, implementation, go-live, and certification.
  • Analyze project progress and adapt when necessary.
  • Establish and maintain relationships and provide updates to appropriate audiences as needed.
  • Present to department executives and legislative body on project progress. 

Specific skills:

  • 5+ years project management experience in technology projects in health care or state government.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage to deadlines and the critical path for project success.
  • Ability to gather requirements and prioritize execution of data aggregation, analytics, and report development.
  • Ability to actively work to expose issues as early as possible and work with Management to resolve.
  • Ability to identify decision-making issues and key stakeholders, develop and implement strategies to encourage and obtain stakeholder and/or community awareness and support, and identify project partners . 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with Idaho state agencies.
  • Experience with state Medicaid agencies.
  • Experience with system and data conversion from legacy systems to new systems.
  • Experience with change management, organizing training, and communication to ensure a smooth roll-out of new systems and processes.
