Summary

Position: SAP FICO Consultant
Location: Tampa, FL (100% Onsite)
Contract Length: 12 Months

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join a large enterprise undergoing a major SAP landscape modernization. This role supports the Finance and Procurement functional areas and plays a key part in ensuring a smooth transition during an S/4HANA‑related upgrade initiative. The consultant will collaborate with technical and functional teams across multiple workstreams to strengthen end‑to‑end financial and cost‑related processes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide functional expertise across SAP FI and CO, with a heavy focus on Costing.
Support configuration, testing, and rollout activities within a multi‑module SAP environment.
Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure strong integration with:
- Production Planning (PP)
- Sales and Distribution / SOP
Assist with month-end closing tasks and cost flow analysis.
Troubleshoot functional issues and help stabilize the system during the transformation period.
Contribute to documentation, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions.

Required Skills & Background

Hands‑on, advanced experience with SAP FICO, particularly in Controlling (CO) and cost management capabilities.
Experience in at least two full lifecycle SAP implementations or rollouts.
Strong understanding of Material Ledger and cost flow functionality.
Working knowledge of:
- General Accounting
- Fixed Assets
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Management
- Treasury processes and bank/EDI integration
Solid understanding of integration points between FICO, PP, and SD/SOP.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments.
Experience with Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions.
Familiarity with Vertex or other tax management tools.

Work Arrangement

This is a fully onsite role in Tampa, FL, requiring daily presence for collaboration with project and business teams.
