Electrical Engineering Intern to join the
Data Power and Control Team in
Reno, NV.
What Will You Do?- Assist engineers as they create, modify, and test electrical circuits, and power distribution products.
- Perform research and development during the creation phase of a product.
- Inspect products for flaws and identify areas of improvement.
- Conduct tests and collect data using electronic test equipment.
- Assist in product design, development, and production.
- Build and test prototype circuits.
- Prepare and conduct experiments.
- Calculate or record results during experiments.
- Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation: Associate of Science Degree with minimum 2 years of engineering experience (or equivalent experience). Current junior status working toward a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
Experience: Engineering Technician experience in a large volume production environment, preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: - Ability to use electronic test equipment, such as, Oscilloscopes, Electronic Loads, Meters, Function Generators, etc.
- Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook.
- Ability to work on live high-voltage circuits.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently.
