Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Supply Chain Planner for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be for six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary: A Supply Chain Planner plays a crucial role in expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to the production schedule. This position is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules, as well as compiling reports on inventory levels and costs.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) team for demand planning and forecasting.
• Examine documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
• Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements and material priorities.
• Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
• Revise production schedules as needed due to design changes, labor or material shortages, or other interruptions.
• Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Excel, Power BI, and SAP (preferred). A background in supply chain management, demand planning, and forecasting is essential.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor, and materials.
• Proficiency in documenting and recording customer/client information accurately.
• Basic mentoring skills to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
• Experience with computer applications, such as Word and Excel.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years of related experience required.
• Excel and PowerPoint proficiency - 5 years
• Demand planning experience - 5 years
• Supply chain experience - 5 years
