The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is recruiting a high-caliber Manufacturing Engineer to serve as the technical backbone for sophisticated robotic and automation systems. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between initial design and final delivery, ensuring that complex electromechanical assemblies meet the highest standards of precision and efficiency. You will be tasked with optimizing the entire product lifecycle—from refining assembly workflows to enhancing field reliability—directly influencing the scalability and success of cutting-edge technological solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Resolve intricate technical discrepancies within advanced robotic platforms, specifically focusing on vision systems, infrared lasers, and pneumatic frameworks.

  • Architect lean manufacturing workflows that maximize throughput while aggressively reducing operational overhead and material waste.

  • Execute formal Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) by identifying design flaws and spearheading the necessary corrective modifications.

  • Engineer bespoke tooling and hardware solutions to streamline production stages and bolster assembly accuracy.

  • Synthesize comprehensive technical documentation and standardized operating procedures for both emerging prototypes and legacy systems.

  • Champion strategic partnerships with global suppliers to elevate component quality and negotiate cost-effective manufacturing outcomes.

  • Drive outsourcing initiatives by evaluating external vendor capabilities against internal production requirements.

  • Mentor emerging engineering talent and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence.

  • Audit Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manage complex routing within ERP systems to maintain impeccable inventory and data integrity.

  • Predict equipment lifecycles through data-driven modeling, ensuring proactive maintenance and minimal downtime for field-deployed assets.

What You Bring

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering is preferred; equivalent professional experience (3–4+ years) in a manufacturing engineering capacity will also be considered.

  • Technical Mastery: At least 3 years of hands-on expertise managing the integration of pneumatic systems, laser marking technology, and electromechanical hardware.

  • Process Expertise: Proven history of navigating the engineering change lifecycle and maintaining rigorous compliance standards.

  • Design Proficiency: Minimum of 2 years utilizing 3D CAD platforms (SolidWorks preferred) to develop industrial solutions.

  • Operational Insight: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing methodologies within high-tech, low-volume environments.

  • Systems Literacy: Fluency in ERP environments (such as Microsoft Dynamics or Business Central) and data visualization tools (Tableau or Salesforce).

  • Logistical Agility: Ability to manage a diverse project portfolio simultaneously while possessing the physical capability to handle equipment or inventory up to 50 pounds.

  • Authorization: Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the requirement for visa sponsorship.
