As the Semiconductor Business Development Executive, you will engage semiconductor customers to open new business, winning support from their procurement teams to begin evaluating and testing the company's products toward qualification. What You'll Do

  • Win agreement from customer procurement departments to launch product evaluation and qualification.
  • Model landed transportation costs for products imported from the parent company.
  • Negotiate product specifications with customer quality organizations.
  • Partner with the sales team to build and deepen customer relationships.
  • Establish procedures for material handling, logistics, customs clearance, new product registration, warehousing, and product handling alongside planning, quality assurance, and production teams at the U.S. manufacturing site.
  • Maintain compliance with TSCA, tariff and allowance rules, and chemical safety regulations.
  • Communicate regularly with counterparts at the parent company to keep business operations aligned.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, technical conferences, and standards development consortiums.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, polymer science, or a related technical field from an accredited university
  • 5+ years of experience overall, including 5+ years working in the semiconductor industry
  • Deep knowledge of the Semiconductor Industry and experience in Sales or Procurement of Etching Agents, such as etching gases used in Front-End Chip Fabrication
  • Strong Business Development, Customer Qualification, and Negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with TSCA and Chemical Regulatory Compliance, along with logistics and customs processes
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach and the initiative to exceed customer expectations and timelines
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively across cultures
  • Strong interpersonal communication, with the ability to connect technical and commercial teams to turn ideas into products
  • Ability to travel approximately 40%, domestically and internationally
  • Dependable, punctual attendance, which is an essential function of the role
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship

Preferred:

  • Master's degree
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Engineering background

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Salary: $109,000–$137,000, depending on experience
