Summary

Maintenance Technician

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour (based on experience)

Pay increases are available based on performance, attendance, skill development, and demonstrated abilities.
Schedule
  • 1st Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Overtime opportunities available
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 2-4 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, or general building maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • The ability to work independently while following direction from supervisors.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment according to scheduled maintenance plans.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Listen for and identify unusual machine operation or sounds to detect equipment malfunctions.
  • Disassemble machinery, replace defective parts, and reassemble equipment.
  • Clean, lubricate, and maintain bearings, gears, shafts, and other machine components.
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, transformers, motors, and other electrical equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Install, maintain, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and piping systems, including valves, gauges, and pressure regulators.
  • Repair and maintain the facility, including general building maintenance tasks.
  • Operate welding and cutting equipment to fabricate or repair metal components.
  • Perform basic carpentry and repair work, including benches, partitions, counters, and other wooden structures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Complete maintenance documentation accurately and communicate equipment issues to supervisors.
