Snowflake Architect – Banking / Data Products

Location: Remote – USA
Preferred: Atlanta, GA / Charlotte, NC / Richmond, VA or nearby
Work Hours: EST hours
Engagement: C2C / Contract

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Architect with a strong background in the Banking / Financial Services domain and hands-on experience designing and delivering Data Products.

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, data modeling, performance optimization and enterprise data platforms
• Good understanding of Data Products / Data-as-a-Product concepts, including reusable and governed data assets for business consumption
• Prior experience working within Banking or Financial Services, preferably with large enterprise data environments
• Experience architecting modern data solutions integrating Snowflake with cloud platforms, ETL/ELT tools, APIs and downstream analytics/reporting platforms
• Strong knowledge of data governance, security, access controls, data quality and regulatory considerations relevant to banking environments
• Ability to work closely with business, product, architecture and engineering stakeholders and translate requirements into practical technical solutions
• Strong communication and client-facing skills, including the ability to participate in architecture discussions and explain solutions to technical and business stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a distributed delivery model, with regular collaboration and handoffs between US-based stakeholders and offshore engineering/delivery teams
• Experience working effectively with India-based delivery teams and managing communication across time zones would be strongly preferred
• Must be currently based in the USA and available to work primarily during Eastern Time business hours
• Preference for candidates located in or around Atlanta, Charlotte, Richmond, or nearby East Coast locations

Preferred Experience

• SnowPro Advanced Architect or relevant Snowflake certifications
• AWS or Azure experience
• Data Mesh / Data Product architecture
• Banking data domains such as Customer, Accounts, Transactions, Payments, Risk, Lending or Regulatory Reporting
• Experience providing technical leadership to onsite and offshore development teams
