BI Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Miramar, FL that is seeking a BI Analyst with experience in business intelligence, data analytics, and dashboard development to help transform data into actionable insights. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role is well suited for an analyst who enjoys working at the intersection of data, business, and technology and is interested in continuing to develop expertise in modern BI and analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI and analytics solutions
* Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions
* Create standardized, automated, and ad-hoc reports to support operational and strategic decision-making
* Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and performance drivers
* Partner with subject matter experts to identify opportunities where analytics and BI can add value
* Support documentation, data definitions, and BI best practices
* Stay current on trends in business intelligence, data visualization, and analytics

REQUIREMENTS:
* 2-4 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or reporting roles
* Hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or similar platforms)
* Strong SQL skills and understanding of data querying best practices
* Familiarity with data integration concepts, ETL processes, and analytics architectures
* Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Have Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field preferred
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms or data warehouses
* Exposure to ETL tools, data pipelines, or data orchestration solutions
* Understanding of data modeling concepts, including star schemas and BI performance optimization
* Experience supporting self-service analytics or training business users
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies, version control, or modern analytics workflows
* Interest in advanced analytics, AI-enabled insights, or data storytelling

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
