The Project Manager position will be a part of the Sunset Process Improvement Precision (SPIP) team supporting a multi-year program working towards the optimal outcome for Client's Sunset Review. This includes numerous milestones and deliverables that will be presented to executive leadership within the agency and state oversight entities. This position performs advanced analysis work providing direction/guidance in strategic operations and planning under limited supervision with considerable latitude for initiative.
The Project Manager position oversees requirements gathering, establishing work plans and schedules for some of the SPIP team's initiatives in the following areas:
Collaborating seamlessly and smoothly with TFC program areas to support the goals of the SPIP team
Development and publication of project management documents and deliverables in compliance with DIR Project Delivery Framework directives.
The Project Manager position will involve management of all aspects of the project and will report to the Sunset Program Manager.
High-level responsibilities may include:
Working seamlessly and smoothly with various stakeholder areas to ensure that processes, policies and performance management methods are compliant with state, federal, and other applicable agency standards.
Establishing a strategic roadmap for initiatives in coordination with the Executive Steering Committee and all divisions of TFC.
Establishing timeline and requirements for successful execution of the program. Coordination with key stakeholders and sponsors to obtain approval of Project Charter and deliverables.
Creation of project management deliverables necessary for this project.
Risk identification and coordination of mitigation and resolution with project leadership.
Ensuring constant communication with the Executive Steering Committee and all stakeholders to function as a blended, partnered team.
