RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Systems Engineer III in Seattle, WA.
The successful engineer in this role will:
* Understand how complex robotics workcells operate, including an understanding of servo drives, industrial networks, safety systems, and integration with host systems
* Own the development of systems and features to improve system throughput, availability, quality, and improve deployment speed and efficacy
* Own documentation of system for immediate team as well as partner commissioning and support teams
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience developing and deploying robotics workcells, including commissioning best practices, and troubleshooting methodologies for complex integrated systems
* Experience developing and evaluating metrics to judge performance of machines and systems
* Experience with software development for controls systems
* In depth knowledge of and experience developing controls systems including developing PLC and HMI applications and integrating components like drives, barcode readers, and remote sensors
* Strong system troubleshooting skills
* Proficiency in multiple IEC 61131-3 languages
* Experience in at least one higher level language and current software development best practices
* Understanding of basic network troubleshooting including industrial networks like Ethercat, Ethernet/IP, ProfibProfinet, etc.
Highly Desirable Attributes:
* Knowledge of C, C++ or Java
* Experience in multi-axis coordinated motion applications
* Experience deploying or managing machines in large-scale, geographically diverse environments
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
